    Trina Braxton is an American singer, actress, and television personality with a net worth of $1.5 million. In the late 1980s, Trina and her four sisters signed a recording contract with Arista Records. It was difficult to advertise the group because of the wide age range of its members, and their first album was a failure. Toni Braxton, the eldest of the Braxton sisters, went on to have a successful solo career after being released by the group.

    The Braxtons, the group’s surviving members, released a slew of hits in the ’90s while also serving as Toni Braxton’s backup singers and opening act. “Dreamgirls” and “Meet the Browns,” as well as the films “I Can Do Bad All by Myself” (2009), “The Walk” (2005), and “Hip Hop Holiday” (2009), and “Dreamgirls” (2010).     Trina Evette Braxton was born on December 3, 1974, in Severn, Maryland. Her mother, Evelyn, was a cosmetologist and a former opera singer; her father, Michael, was a Methodist preacher and a businessman. As a youngster, Trina sang in the church choir alongside her siblings, Michael Jr., Toni, Traci, Towanda, and Tamar.

    Career

    After signing with Arista Records in 1989, the Braxton sisters’ song “Good Life” peaked at No. 79 on the “Billboard” Hot R&B/Hyper-Hip-Hop Singles chart in 1990. Despite the Braxtons’ demise, Toni was signed to LaFace Records as a solo artist. Trina, Tamar, Towanda, and Traci were featured in Toni’s “Seven Whole Days” music video and toured with her on her maiden U.S. tour. A&R Vice President Bryant Reid brought the Braxtons with him to Atlantic Records when he left LaFace in 1993.

    It was stated in 2011 that Traci would not be signing a contract with the label since she was pregnant. After releasing their album “So Many Ways” on August 13, 1996, The Braxtons climbed as high as No. 26 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and No. 2 on the Heatseekers Chart. It was in 1998 when Tamar Braxton decided to pursue a solo career.

    When Braxton featured in Tyler Perry’s “Meet the Browns,” she also played Deena Jones in “Dreamgirls,” both of which came out the year before that. “Jail Party” and “The Walk” were both released in 2005, and she starred in both. The next year, Trina joined Tyler Perry’s wedding band, Simply Irresistible, and the two reunited for a cameo in his film, “I Can Do Bad All By Myself.” When “Braxton Family Values” premiered in 2011, it was the most popular reality program on WE tv, and the Braxton sisters made their debut. On top of that, Trina is also an executive producer on the program, which has aired 148 episodes over seven seasons as of this writing.

    She signed a record contract with Soltri Entertainment in 2012 to pursue a solo career. Besides “The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don’t Be Late),” Tamar released “Party or Go Home” (2012) and “Game Time” (2013), which were included on her album “Loversland” in 2013. (2013). ‘Braxton Family Christmas’ debuted at the top of the Heatseekers Albums list in 2015, according to Billboard. “Broken Things,” “Head Over Heels,” and “Hip Hop Holiday” are all examples of Trina’s collaborations with Traci in 2018.

    Other guest appearances include “The Soul Man” (2012) and “Where’s The Love?” (2012), both of which featured Braxton as a character (2014). Trina, Towanda, and Traci raised $25,000 for the “Saving Our Daughters” anti-bullying organization on “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” in 2013. “The Talk,” “The Mo’Nique Show,” “The Arsenio Hall Show,” “Bethenny,” “The Wendy Williams Show,” and “The Real” have all featured Braxton. As part of “Celebrity Family Feud” in 2015, the Braxton family won money for Lupus LA by competing against Anthony Anderson’s family. There is no cure for cancer, and Toni was diagnosed with it back in 2008.

    Personal Life

    In 1994, Trina married Jose Mojica Jr. Two boys were born to Trina and Jose Mojica Jr., Eric (born in 1995) and Caleb (born in 1998) before the couple divorced. Gabriel Solis, a software engineer, married Braxton on August 10, 2003; the pair divorced ten years later. After their divorce was completed in 2015, Gabe died of cancer in December 2018 at the age of 43.

    During a season seven episode of “Braxton Family Values,” Trina married Von Scales on December 15, 2019. A Georgia city has designated June 24th as “Trina Braxton Day” because she has been a fan for a “long time” and is “extremely happy, thrilled, and supportive of all its development and activities,” according to a press release.

    In 2019, Braxton paid $660,000 for a 6,071-square-foot house roughly an hour from Atlanta. As well as the main home, there’s a guest cottage with its own kitchen and a saltwater pool on the grounds.
